Leigh Sugden is a full-time artist based in Yorkshire, UK. A Graphic Designer and trained illustration artist, graduating with a Ba (Hons) in Art & Design in '98  she concentrated on establishing herself within the design industry, successfully running her own business  in the North.
 

Her painting is intuitive, expressive and evolutionary; she is inspired by colour, landscapes, fashion, design, people, street art, textures and objects that summon innovation. Known for her love of colour, texture, & metallics, her art evokes emotions and a consciousness of contemporary luxury. Her focus is to create something striking, allowing the viewer to be consumed by her art, whilst also developing a painting that will enhance an interior space, achieving an ambience, right for their chosen room; that is paramount. Art should be accessible to all and therefore adaptable.

She works in mixed media and acrylics, found materials, collage, and mixes typography into some of her series. Leigh sells her work to individual collectors and businesses worldwide via her social media platforms, website & Saatchiart.com.
